Hello! For my year in review, I decided to make a video. I know that it is 12 minutes long instead of 10 minutes, and I apologize for that. I cut it down from 16 minutes and kept what I believe answers the following necessary prompts while being a bit fun as well.
- In what way do you feel you have changed or grown the most since coming to UC?
- 3 significant events/experiences/challenges and how they were influential in terms of how you se yourself today
- How will you use lessons learned as you move forward?
- What advice would you give yourself entering the 2nd year?
- What are the 1st steps you can accomplish into next year to make the most of your UC experiences?
I chose a video as my review format because being able to be relatable through a camera is something that I admire because of how challenging it is to picture and speak to the audience. I often express myself through what I write, so I also wanted to mix things up a little. Though I probably say 'like' and 'um' too many times, (it's so aggravating to watch yourself over and over while editing!) I think it's because I was being very conscientious about my review since the most important thing to me was to be completely honest. With that, I hope you can experience just some of what I was feeling through my first year of college!

Hi there, old friends! (Or new friends, if you're new, watching the first video might help) I'm continuing with the video format for my second year in review, and now it's even longer than before! I apologize once again; my goal for this year should have been learn to be concise and funny-at least, I hope I'm funny, I enjoy making these a lot, so I hope you're enjoying them, dear viewer, even after I cut, like, 5 minutes of babbling out. I still feel like speaking to you like this makes me reflect on the significant parts of my year and how to express it in a universal way, which is why I'll be back with a third one next year! (I know you're looking forward to it already) As always, I am coming to you with just a portion of my honest thoughts, so I hope that you will take the time to listen to my review of my second year of college! Here are the prompts that I used:
- What is something new that you learned this year? Why is that learning significant and how has this enhanced your ability to contribute academically or otherwise?
- What connections/patterns can you identify within your involvement and choices? What is the significance of the connections/patterns you noted?
- How have your thoughts about who you are and what you want to do changed or evolved this year? How will that inform your next steps?
- What is at least one goal that you have set for yourself for the upcoming year?
- What piece of advice would you like to give yourself as you prepare for the upcoming year, be that academically, personally, or both?

Hi again! For my third year in review, I've decided to write an essay prompted by the following questions:
-What is one thing you would change about this year? Why?
-What connections/patterns can you identify within your involvement and choices? What is the significance of the connections/patterns you noted?
-What piece of advice would you like to give yourself as you prepare for the upcoming year, be that academically, personally, or both?
-How have your thoughts about who you are and what you want to do changed or evolved this year? How will that inform your next steps?
- What is at least one goal that you have set for yourself for the upcoming year?
